Arizona State Futures Odds And Season Wins Total

Last year, Arizona State had a season wins total of nine, but after an off-season with a complete roster change, things are looking different for 2022. Most Arizona sports betting apps have the Arizona State football 2022 season wins total of around six games. BetMGM Arizona has the Sun Devils at the lowest wins total at 5.5 games.

Arizona State barely missed the nine-win mark last season, finishing 8-5 overall and 6-3 in the Pac-12 conference. The roster changes and NCAA investigation are going to change things up for the Sun Devils this upcoming season.

Herm Edwards will be back to coach the ASU Sun Devils this year, but again the roster changes and NCAA troubles could be the reason for the low win total offered by most sportsbooks.

Arizona State 2022 Season Roster Changes

First, some of last season’s all-stars went on to the NFL, including RB Rachaad White, TE Curtis Hodges, and LB Darien Butler.

Then, the transfer portal hit the team hard with many top players departing due to the program’s NCAA investigation into recruiting violations. It started when quarterback Jayden Daniels transferred to LSU. Other top players who transferred include WR Ricky Pearsall to the Florida Gators, DE Eric Gentry to USC, and RB Deamonte Trayanum to Ohio State. In total, 14 key players left the program in the transfer portal.

So, who is left for the Sun Devils? Quarterback Paul Tyson from Alabama did join the roster along with DL Nesta Jade Silvera from Miami. WR Chad Johnson Jr. and LB Kyle Soelle will be returning. And incoming freshman WR Javen Jacobs and QB Finn Collins will be joining the team, among others.
