Register

Start by browsing the different app options you have. When you find one, or even two, that you are interested in, you can start the process by registering.

To register, you must prove your identity and that you are at least 21-years-old by providing the following information:

  • Name
  • Date of birth
  • Email address
  • Mailing address
  • Phone number
  • Last four digits of your SSN

Once you complete the registration process, you will be able to log in to the app and start betting.

Deposit Funds and Bet

You will want to check all bonus offers that the sportsbook app is currently offering. The good news is, there are different promotions throughout the year and most apps offer a welcome bonus.

Once you deposit funds into your account using either credit, debit, or an e-wallet such as PayPal, you can start placing bets. Most of the apps will allow totals bets, moneyline bets, points spread bets, parlay bets, and prop bets.

Collect Winnings

If you do end up winning, you can cash out just as easily as depositing funds. To collect your winnings, you can use either a bank transfer, an e-wallet, or a check that will be mailed to your mailing address.

Legal Sports Betting In Phoenix

In April of 2021, Governor Ducey signed a bill allowing sports betting in Phoenix and the entire state of Arizona. This includes retail sportsbooks and online sports betting.

Those 21-years-old and older are allowed to place sports wagers in-person and online in Arizona. The bill grants the state a total of 20 licenses. The local tribal-operated casinos are allowed ten licenses and the other ten go to local sports franchises and venues.

What Sports Can I Bet On In Phoenix

Sports betting in Phoenix really has endless options. Thanks to the state of Arizona calling several professional sports teams home, such as the Arizona Cardinals, the Phoenix Suns, the Arizona Coyotes, and the Arizona Diamondbacks, the state is a prime spot for sports bettors.

Phoenix and surrounding cities also are known to host some of the world’s biggest sporting events such as March Madness and the Super Bowl. Totals bets, spread bets, parlay bets, moneyline bets, and even prop bets will be permitted in the state of Arizona. This includes placing wagers on collegiate games, with the exception of prop bets. Prop bets are not allowed on collegiate games in Arizona.

Phoenix Online Sports Betting Versus Neighboring States

Arizona has four neighboring states, two of which do not allow any sports betting at all. However, Nevada and New Mexico do offer some sports betting options.

California

California currently doesn’t allow sports betting of any kind. But they may be following Arizona’s lead as lawmakers are looking to pass a bill to allow sports betting in California by 2022.

Utah

The state of Utah doesn’t allow any form of sports betting or any form of gambling.

Nevada

Nevada is known for gambling, so of course, in-person and online sports betting is allowed in the state. Las Vegas is an easy five-hour drive from downtown Phoenix and offers a few more options than Arizona when it comes to sports betting. In Nevada, especially Las Vegas, you will easily be able to find a retail sportsbook. Retail sportsbooks such as BetMGM, Caesars Sportsbook, and WynnBET are popular in Las Vegas, also offering online sports betting.

New Mexico

New Mexico is a little different when it comes to legal sports betting. The Indian Gaming Regulatory Act of 1988 permits retail sportsbooks in some casinos. However, the state of New Mexico only allows these locations for in-person sports betting and doesn’t allow any online sports betting.
