The latest sports betting partnership to form in Arizona is between NASCAR and Barstool Sportsbook.
This marks the fifth partnership between a sportsbook and a local sports franchise. Arizona sports betting is set to launch just in time for the NFL season, on September 9.
The Sports Betting Partnership Details
The partnership names Barstool Sportsbook as the exclusive sportsbook of Phoenix Raceway, owned and operated by NASCAR.
“Phoenix Raceway is a state-of-the-art entertainment destination that prides itself on delivering a best-in-class fan experience,” commented Julie Giese, Phoenix Raceway President.
Jon Kaplowitz, Senior Vice President of Penn Interactive, added, “This new partnership will allow us to engage a passionate sports fan base in Arizona while having access to a best-in-class sports entertainment facility in Phoenix Raceway”.
Barstool Sportsbook’s partnership with Phoenix Raceway inspires the sportsbook app to actively promote NASCAR odds and also offer unique promotions and odds boosts to sports bettors in Arizona.
The sportsbook’s operator, Penn Interactive, is no stranger to NASCAR. It became the first authorized gaming operator of NASCAR. Penn Interactive also has a sponsorship with Kansas Speedway through 2026, operating Hollywood Casino inside the track.

Phoenix Raceway has been open since 1964 and hosts two NASCAR races each year along with other events such as the IndyCar Series and the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
The NASCAR Cup Series Championship often takes place at Phoenix Raceway and will return on November 7, 2021.
Barstool Sportsbook
Barstool Sportsbook is available in Illinois, Indians, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. The partnership with Phoenix Raceway and NASCAR allows the sportsbook to apply for a sports betting license in Arizona to offer its state-of-the-art mobile app and open a retail sportsbook.
The sportsbook app has bonus offers, including a 2 for 1 New Player Bonus promotion. This means if you lose on your first bet, you can get an equal bonus bet of up to $1000 in bonus cash.
