Arizona bettors have been able to enjoy the BetMGM app since it launched in September. But now bettors can take advantage of in-person betting with BetMGM retail sportsbooks coming to the Phoenix area.
BetMGM Retail Sportsbooks At Gila River Hotels And Casinos
BetMGM partnered with the Arizona Cardinals and the Gila River Community to bring its sportsbook to Arizona. In addition to the sports betting app being available across the state, retail sportsbooks will start opening this week at local Gila River Hotels and Casinos.
Vee Quiva Location

The Gila River Hotel and Casino – Vee Quiva is holding its sportsbook grand opening on Friday, November 5 at 5 pm. NASCAR drivers Austin Dillon and Tyler Reddick will be on hand along with the BetMGM NASCAR Cup Series Car.
The new sportsbook features a media wall with 25 large screen displays and seating for more than 100. Ticket writers are available to help assist guests and the sportsbook also offers 20 betting kiosks.
Wild Horse Pass Location
- Opening Date: Thursday, November 11
- Address: 5040 Wild Horse Pass Blvd, Chandler, AZ 85226
The Wild Horse Pass location will hold its sportsbook grand opening on Thursday, November 11 at 6 pm. Former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jake Plummer will be in attendance.
Lone Butte Location
- Opening Date: Saturday, November 13
- Address: 1077 S Kyrene Rd, Chandler, AZ 85226
The Gila River Hotel and Casino – Lone Butte location is hosting a grand opening on Saturday, November 13 at 5 pm. UFC fighters Michael Chiesa, Julianna Pena, and Miesha Tate will make an appearance.
BetMGM Retail Sportsbook At State Farm Stadium
Through the BetMGM and Arizona Cardinals partnership, a retail sportsbook is also coming to State Farm Stadium. It is expected to be open in time for the 2022 NFL Season.
State Farm Stadium will be hosting the Super Bowl in 2023, meaning a BetMGM sportsbook will most likely be open and live inside the stadium during the Super Bowl. This will be the first time a sportsbook is open inside the stadium holding a Super Bowl. But it probably won’t be the last. More and more states are jumping on board and legalizing sports betting.
