It all started with a harmless photo tweeted by Arizona Cardinals defensive end JJ Watt. Then it led to the Twitter feud heard around the NFL and led to the Arizona Cardinals with boosted NFC title odds.
DraftKings fired the first shots first when it retweeted the photo Watt posted of him throwing a ball at practice and included the caption “Intercepted.”

Watt fired back with this own banter — a photo of a chart of DraftKings’ stock price in the last year dropping with the caption “you might want to think about intercepting some profits sometime soon…”. The tweet has since received more than 106,000 likes.

That Wasn’t The End
DraftKings’ co-founder, Matt Kalish got the last word on Twitter when he responded to Watt’s tweet: “too violent, going to need you to return that Walter Peyton Man of the Year award.”
As a bit of a joke, DraftKings moved the Cardinals’ odds to win the NFC title from 20-to-1 to 50-to-1 for 24 hours.
It’s safe to say, JJ Watt just might have gotten his first sack of the season before even stepping on the field.
