The time has come…the Cardinals kick off their regular season today in Tennessee against the Titans.
A lot is riding on this season, especially the job of head coach Kliff Kingsbury. Larry Fitzgerald is not returning this season, but there are some new boys on the roster to join returning players Kyler Murray, Deandre Hopkins, and Chandler Jones.
Since sports betting launched before game day, those in Arizona have a chance to make a wager on the Cardinals.

Cardinals Game Preview
The Cardinals didn’t get to play their third preseason game, so they have had an extra week of rest. This is not really a good thing considering quarterback Kyler Murray only played a little bit in game 2 of the preseason against the Chiefs and wasn’t exactly spectacular. With a tough season ahead and a lot on the line, the Cardinals need to come out strong and it will be hard to do so against the Titans.
We will be on the lookout for the team’s new additions, who are ready to shine in game 1 of the regular season. This includes J.J. Watt, A.J. Green, and Rodney Hudson, just to name a few.
The Cardinals have a new kicker, Matt Prater, after cutting Zane Gonzalez after last season’s many failures, which ultimately cost a few of the Cardinals’ games.
Titans Game Preview
Of course, running back Derrick Henry is the star of the Titans and needs to be stopped if Arizona wants to win. But in the offseason, the Titans added another offensive weapon, Julio Jones.
The Titans are expected to be another playoff contender, and with it being a home game and fans returning, the Titans are going to have some leverage over the Cardinals. We expect it to be a great match-up with it ending up closer than most people think. Unfortunately, we aren’t sure the Cardinals will be able to pull off a win. And sportsbooks seem to agree with the Titans as a slight favorite to win.
Sports Betting Odds For The Cardinals And Titans This Season
It is always worth looking ahead at the season and as soon as the season starts rolling, the future odds are going to change and it will be interesting to see.
The Cardinals are in the tough NFC West division so it is going to be hard to get to the postseason. They almost made it last year, ending the season with an 8-8 record and barely earning a wildcard spot. (Losing five of their last seven games definitely didn’t help)
Losing to an AFC team in week 1 isn’t the end of the world, but it would help keep the Cardinals in the mix with the rest of the division.
Current Super Bowl Odds
DraftKings has the Cardinals at +4500 to win the Super Bowl. But BetMGM, which is known for having generous odds, has Arizona at +1600.
As for the Titans, DraftKings has them at +3000 to win the Super Bowl. But they seem to be the favorite to win the AFC North at -110.
