One of the first sports betting apps to launch in the state was DraftKings Arizona after partnering with the PGA’s TPC Scottsdale. Now that partnership is getting an upgrade.
DraftKings and TPC Scottsdale are going to build a retail sportsbook close to the Stadium Course clubhouse. Construction is scheduled to begin in May 2022, and the plan is for the sportsbook to open in the fall of 2023.

TPC Scottsdale’s DraftKings Sportsbook
DraftKings Sportsbook and dining experience will be located at the southeast corner of Greenway-Hayden and Bell Road in Scottsdale, just across from the Stadium Course Clubhouse.
The lead architect behind the creative design is Allen + Philip Partners. The interior and exterior space will include around 390 seats with additional standing room for guests.
Guests will be able to enjoy a fine-dining experience at the restaurant along with elevated domestic fare, mixed drinks, and 12 beers on tap.
The venue is aimed to give customers an optimal experience with 3,400 square feet of video walls and screens throughout the sportsbook, along with an outdoor patio complete with video screens, VIP cabanas, and fire pits.

Betting Options at TPC Scottsdale’s DraftKings Sportsbook
The sportsbook will include approximately 40 betting kiosks and seven ticket windows. Complimentary high-speed internet will also be available to guests so they can use mobile services to place wagers. DraftKings Arizona is one of the largest mobile operators in the Arizona sports betting industry.
Active wagers are not needed to enter the retail sportsbook, and guests of all ages can enjoy the restaurant and patio. However, guests must be 21-years-old to enter the wagering lounge inside the sportsbook.
The DraftKings Sportsbook will be an integral part of the TPC Scottsdale experience throughout the year and plans to be open daily, with hours to be determined later. It is expected to be open throughout the day and evening to accommodate bettors so they can enjoy all major sporting events.
Waste Management Phoenix Open At TPC Scottsdale
TPC Scottsdale is home to the Waste Management Phoenix Open every February. Known as the “Greatest Show On Grass” and one of the PGA’s most popular events, the tournament brings an immense crowd.
The DraftKings Sportsbook will not be open to the general public during the WM Phoenix Open as it will be used as hospitality during the event. TPC Scottsdale is expected to release additional details at a later date.
