Arizona Cardinals, BetMGM Release Images Of Upcoming Stadium Sportsbook

The Arizona Cardinals and BetMGM will open a retail sportsbook at the Cardinals’ home of State Farm Stadium in time for the 2022 NFL season. It will be the first sportsbook at an NFL stadium.

Construction has begun on the two-story, 17,000-square-foot building. It will operate on event and non-event days.

“Since the launch of our partnership with BetMGM last August, the response has been incredible,” Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill said. “When this sportsbook opens next season, it will provide an opportunity to engage and entertain our fans in a way that is unprecedented.

Details Of The BetMGM Sportsbook

Named the BetMGM Sportsbook, it will be located on the north side of the Great Lawn and will combine the energy and viewing options of a top-of-the-line sportsbook with the amenities of a world-class sports bar.

It will feature dual entrances from both sides of the Great Lawn, and there will be a large video wall to watch games. There will also be enhanced gameday parking options in addition to indoor and outdoor dining options.

Sports bettors will also be able to place wagers at trading windows and betting kiosks spread throughout the facility.

“The Arizona Cardinals and BetMGM are both committed to enhancing the gameday experience for fans in new and creative ways,” BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt said. “The BetMGM Sportsbook at State Farm Stadium will be one of the most unique and innovative additions to a venue that the sports and entertainment industry has ever seen.”

Cardinals Not Done This Season

Cardinals fans will likely have many playoff games to watch at the BetMGM Sportsbook in the coming. years, but there is at least one more to be played this year before that facility opens.

Arizona will take on its NFC West rival the Los Angeles Rams in the Wild Card round of this year’s playoffs. The division foes will square off Monday night at 6:15 p.m. BetMGM Arizona lists the Rams as 4-point favorites, and the total is 49.5 points.
