Arizona sports betting launches on September 9, giving sports bettors the chance to bet on the Arizona Diamondbacks before the end of their 2021 season.
Baseball may not be as popular as football or even basketball when it comes to sports betting, but with the addition of a sportsbook right next to Chase Field, home of the Diamondbacks, that might change.
The Diamondbacks were established in 1998 and quickly made it to the World Series, winning the championship in 2001. But they have failed to make it back to the World Series since. The team has had some luck making the playoffs but hasn’t been able to do so since 2017.
Where Can You Bet On The Arizona Diamondbacks?
When sports betting in the state officially launches on September 9, there will be a few different sportsbooks to choose from, with the hope of more coming to Arizona.
BetMGM has the Diamondbacks at +20000 to win the World Series in 2021, so if you are looking to take a chance on the Diamondbacks, you will be able to do so through sportsbook apps until the retail sportsbooks officially open. Opening dates for these retail sportsbooks are currently unknown.

How To Bet On The World Series In Arizona
Baseball may not be a popular sports betting sport, but it does see some action when it is time for the World Series.
The playoffs start in October, making it the perfect time for those in Arizona to place bets on the World Series and games leading up to it.
The chances of the Diamondbacks making the World Series, let alone the playoffs, are extremely slim. But all of the sportsbooks offered in Arizona allow sports bets on any major league baseball team.
In addition to picking who you think will win the World Series, you can also make player prop bets. Other World Series prop bets usually include if a run will be scored in the first inning or if the team that scores the first run will win the game. Each year there are different prop bets to wager on.
The Arizona Diamondbacks Partnership With Caesars
Caesars Sportsbook and the Arizona Diamondbacks agreed to a 10-year partnership, allowing Caesars to offer mobile sports betting as well as a retail sportsbook right next to Chase Field.
The retail sportsbook bar will be located adjacent to the busiest entrance of Chase Field. The retail sportsbook is expected to be open year-round and occupy two levels that can easily be accessed from the street.
Caesars is expected to offer betting on all major sports leagues including futures bets, parlay bets, prop bets, and more. This makes it easy for sports bettors attending Diamondback games to place bets or for sports bettors to place a bet any day of the year.
